ExhibitPlus Norman Bell

One of the classic town characters at the first paper I worked at. Norman Bell hated being photographed, but I caught this image of him one day and -- after a long discussion over it -- he said it was okay to use it. I thought it captured his spirit well and found that the long white leg coming in from the right spoke somewhat to the racism that still was prevalent at the time. Years later, upon Norman's death, his family asked for this image to be displayed at his funeral.
